Zhang Qi is Associate Dean of Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management in 2003 and 2006 respectively, and earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Leeds in 2011.His primary research areas include financial markets, asset pricing, behavioral finance, and banking. 

His academic research has been published in top international journals such as the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and Journal of Banking and Finance.He has led and participated in several National Natural Science Foundation of China general projects. 

He received Best Paper Awards at the China Finance Research Conference in 2017, 2019, and 2022. He was selected for Shanghai high level talent program. In 2024, he was named one of the "Top Ten Class Advisors" at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He also serves as a member of the Academic Committee of the Shanghai Institute of International Finance and Economics and as an Associate Editor of China Finance Review International.
