About Journal of Management Analytics

Journal of Management Analytics (JMA) is a journal focused on the theory of data analytics and its applications in business and management. These disciplines include accounting, finance, management, marketing, production/ operations management, and supply chain management. The interface between data analytics and various business disciplines are of particular interest for this journal. Research methods integral to this journal include, but are not limited to, empirical research, data analytics, data science, operations research, management science, decision science, and simulation modelling.

Established in 2014, JMA was among the pioneers in developing Management Analytics research, and has witnessed and contributed to the booming development of the business analytics field. JMA publishes quarterly and is growing steadily in volume. The acceptance rate (Year-round total articles accepted/ submitted) of JMA is around 5% in 2025.

After being listed by ABDC in 2019, JMA was indexed by Ei Compendex in 2020 and SSCI in 2021. In the WoS Journal Citation Report 2024, JMA is a Q1 journal in the field of Mathematical Methods in Social Sciences, with an Impact Factor of 4.5.

JMA’s CiteScore reaches 9.9 in 2023, ranking it in the top 2% in Statistics, Probability and Uncertainty (a subfield of Decision Sciences), top 3% in Statistics and Probability (a subfield of Mathematics), and top 4% in Business, Management and Accounting (miscellaneous).

JMA was rated as Grade 2 in Academic Journal Guide (AJG) released by the Chartered Association of Business Schools (ABS) in 2024, and rating B in Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality List in 2025.

In addition, JMA was included in the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Journal Ranking, and was listed in the FMS Management Science High-Quality Journal Recommendation List.
